I did it! I finally visited the Sugarhouse location for Minis Cupcakes!
I loved it! It is a cool location, and I love the decor and retro feel! I tell ya, I’m so happy about the direction the Utah cupcake scene is headed! I mean, come on people, cupcakeries are opening second locations! Cupcakes are here to stay! Cupcakes are not a trend they are a tradition! 
Congrats again, Leslie, on a great cupcakes and a new location.

The Carrie Cosmo Cupcake is back at Mini’s Cupcakes in SLC. Here’s a picture from last year’s version. (i think last year featured orange. this year is lime)

“Back by popular demand, the Carrie Cosmo! We will no longer have the carrot cake on Fridays, we will have our most popular cocktail cupcake. The Carrie Cosmo is a cranberry cupcake soaked in cranberry juice and vodka, frosted with lime frosting topped with a fresh cranberry. Our new seasonal cupcake is a peaches and creme. This is an amazing vanilla cupcake filled with a fresh peach puree topped with fresh cream and more peach puree.”

I snapped a pix of these cool-looking cupcakes with my trusty cell phone. They’re the Shanghai Cupcakes from Les Madeleines. I love how Romina has chosen to pipe the frosting. By the way, I had a chance to pick up her takeout menu and it had a huge list of cupcake flavors. And listen to this: All of Les Madeleines cupcake flavors and their names are inspired by the chef’s travels. Here’s the cupcake flavor list:

Football season is almost in full swing and Diva’s Cupcakes and Coffee will be offering this cupcake dedicated to their favorite team, the Utah Utes.
