North Oremites have a new joint to hang out and satiate the need for a non-coffee fix at the new Decadence. This self-proclaimed artisan cafe serves up far more than roasted cocoa bru concotions, though that’s their specialty and what will keep you coming back for more.
Don’t leave without trying their seasonal offering of Pumpkin Caramel Latte, a Ham and Cheese Croissant and a mammoth-triple-layer-should-be-called-cake cream cheese brownie. A seven man line-up of cupcakes in pretty parchment paper is on the menu. Fall flavor lovers will automatically be drawn to the caramel apple cupcake with cream cheese frosting. The most popular flavor is (thankfully) not red velvet, but a lemon-lemon crunch: a moist, tart lemon cake with lemon-curdy frosting and lemon candies crunched atop.

Decadence is hosting a grand opening celebration today through Saturday. The festivity is equipped with a wheel-o-prizes for free t-shirts, gift certificates and tickets to the BYU vs. Hawaii Game (though no win is guaranteed, the Cougars still need to figure out that offensive game). Free ice cream, cocoa bru roasted cocoa bean drink samples and 25% off all purchases for all who come.
All chocolate. No coffee. They promise.

Disclosure: Decadence provided me with a sampling of their menu, though my opinions and overly-hyphenated writing style are my own. I have since returned (twice) for a ham and cheese croissant and caramel pumpkin latte.
