Cupcakes Kick Cancer at The Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe

I love seeing cupcakes used for a good cause. The Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe in Provo is no stranger to cupcake fundraisers for various charities, organizations and individuals in need. They are so kind and generous with their tasty treats.

This Saturday, June 26, The Cocoa Bean Cupcake Cafe will be raising money for Trent Rasmussen. Trent  (cousin to Cocoa Bean owners, Gloria and Gary) was recently diagnosed with stage 4 sarcoma cancer.

 The Cocoa Bean will donate all proceeds from June 26 sales to the Rasmussen family. . They will also have a raffle and silent auction available.

You can learn more about Trent’s battle with cancer on his blog, Looking Up and Kneeling Down. I browsed it for a few minutes today. Read the first few posts if anything. My heart goes out to the Rasmussen family. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

**If you can’t make it to the even and would like to donate directly to the family there has been an account set up at Zions Bank under the Trent and Holly Rasmussen Fund.
