Sampled: Cakes de Fleur Cupcakes
I’ve had my eye on Cakes de Fleur ever since I read they won best all-around cupcake by Salt Lake Magazine. Well, I finally sampled some, met the owner and um…was set in awe.
My favorite flavor: Vanilla
These cupcakes really were that good.

Chocolate Caramel Cupcake
Vanilla Cupcake Week
This might be a seasonal flavor–I just tried their Vanilla cupcakes with Strawberry Buttercream frosting, Each was crowned with a beautiful chocolate-dipped strawberry. Yummo! Two to a box at The Store. I hope they keep making these–what a lovely treat at the end of a day (my husband, daughter and I split two and it was just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth).
