Cupcakes at Social Media Club-Utah Valley Meeting!
I along with some other social media peeps attended the first-ever Social Media Club-Utah Valley brainstorm meeting last night. I tell ya, there was excitement in the air and just an overall great feeling going on as we began organizing our group. We have a great mix of people from many specialties and industries. April Atwater of Sweet Life in the Valley brought us all cupcakes from The Chocolate. We devoured the glorious red velvet and lemon goodies. The lemon is my favorite at The Chocolate so I was pleasantly surprised to see them. AND I have to admit, I prefer my red velvet with cream cheese frosting and The Chocolate uses whipped cream, but somehow last night I was thinking “Dang, whipped cream ain’t bad with this moist-beyond-moist red cupcake!”

Alright..alright. I am super jealous that I was not present at this amazing cupcake par-tea put on by Lyndsey of Kitchen DoughDough and Kara of Kara’s Cupcakes/Kara’s Party Ideas!

Cupcake Liner Garland
I ran across this very lovely and quite inventive cupcake liner garland when I was browsing the talented Lacey Jane Pappas flickr stream. When we finally get (we = me and who ever wants to help) our buts in gear and start our Utah Cupcake Meetups, I’d love to have Lacey J teach us how to make these! These adorable graduation cupcakes were made by photographer and friend, Bethany Jackman. She made them for her husband’s university graduation! Aren’t they adorable? She used graham crackers for the cap and fruit rollups for the tassels!

Cupcake Chic‘s newest flavor is a sure hit for summer!
This S’more cupcake is loaded with goey (and NOT messy) goodness! I just tried one over at the Coffee Pod and loved it. The frosting was superior. I have no idea how she did it! The only thing I think could improve is the grahm cracker crust/bottom, it didn’t stick very well to the cupcake and I also could have used more. AND the only other thing that could improve was the opportunity of eating another! Seriously, try this today! You’ll love it!

Okay, these Dulce de Leche cupcakes are now my top cupcake recommendation at The Sweet Tooth Fairy. The exact word that came out of my mouth after I took a bite “Holy freak of nature…you have got to be kidding me…this is so good!”
