Cakewalk Baking Company Storefront is Open
Utah’s first vegan bake shoppe opened their storefront in Bountiful.
It’s the Cakewalk Baking Company…they specialize in organic, fair trade and gluten free treats.
“Always vegan. Always delicious.”
I’m so happy to see this. It’s just not fair for my gluten-allergic friend not to enjoy cupcakes.
I hope to head up their soon! Probably this weekend. If you are going, be sure to check holiday hours.

Cupcake Chic’s Peppermint Cupcake was featured on Studio 5 today, as part of their peppermint picks!

She did such a great job and was looking so great! Trista, I’m not sure if you planned the pink shirt or not to go along with your fuschia and black logo–but if you did–I am even happier!
Her dark chocolate cake with creamy peppermint frosting looked so yummy! She even had them on an awesome cupcake tower!
Brooke and Darin ,The Studio 5 hosts loved them made some fun comments:
Brooke–”What a fabulous presentation!” and “oooh and a fun addition to a winter wedding”

Seriously so creamy and the frosting was like licking the center out of an oreo
w/o filling sick afterwards!

Mini’s – Adorable Business Card
I’m a sucker for great looking business cards
and while I was grabbing some mini cupcakes at Mini’s this weekend
I grabbed one of owner, Leslie Fiet’s cards.
Simply charming, Leslie!
You can’t tell from the scan, but the paper is sparkly!
PS: I’m happy to report, her cupcakes did make me happy!

The Gingerbread Cupcake!
This festive treat is described as a “moist gingerbread cake topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting.”
and after trying one today, I can agree 100 percent!
I loved it.
They top it with a wonderful ginger bread/snap cookie that I so happily used to scoop up some cream cheese goodness.
According to Cupcake Chic’s official blog, they are offering a 10 percent discount on all your flavor of the month orders. Now how’s that for spreading holiday cheer!
Cupcake Chic is an out-of-home cupcake business. But don’t fret, you can grab some of their cupcake-amazingness at these locations in Spanish Fork, Springville and Provo.
